Main Street Manager Updates
CLIFFS ACTION REVITALIZATION TEAM – MAIN STREET MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
The Main Street Manager works with the Cliffs Action Revitalization Team to enhance relationships and facilitate organization and cooperation amongst Cliffs Commercial District business owners and community organizations. Keeping in mind the goals of the CART and DOLA Colorado Main Street initiative, the MSM, assists with creation, facilitation and promotion of several annual community events, solicits volunteers and provides volunteering opportunities, and provides a training platform for Cliffs Commercial District businesses.
The MSM maintains data base information for events, media outlets, local resources, organizations, businesses, volunteers, and event participants and serves as a conduit for providing this information to meet the needs of businesses and organizations. The MSM creates promotional information and advertising for the Cliffs Commercial District and events, and is responsible for dissemination to the various media outlets for publication. The initial stages of the position required communications to foster a better working environment with business owners and organizations. Having achieved this, the position will now be focused towards project development.
